Loading at lochinver

just a few pics when i loaded at lochinver two weeks ago

this is the pier they wanted me on to load

i was on this pier for four hours and the wind was real scary it was blowing that hard the boat broke free when they was unloading it iwas lying on the top bed on the scania and being high up it seemed twice as bad when i was loaded i jumped out the passenger door an was blown on my back side

you can see the boat on the pier out of the passenger window where i was parked

who were you loading that for sam hunter , john vincent or one of the french firms?

it was john vincent we do quite a bit for him

now i know what to keep an eye out for ill tell sue a scania to do a number on that truck amazing what you can do with chocolate

Looks a bit like the quayside at Berwick on Tweed where all the trucks (not
frigos!) park up at night with the drivers tackling the massive platefuls at
Margaret’s (Twempies) across the road. (Well it used to be across the road, I
heard later she expanded into the funeral parlour just round the
corner :open_mouth: )
I always used to park right up the end, just enough room to swing the wagon &
drag between the bollards. (Leave it auto-censor! The things they tie ships
to :unamused: )
Anyone know if Margaret is still in business there? It’s more than 6 years since
I’ve been, her husband used to be a night trunker for Reed Boardall.

they do enough work on it without you getting somemore done on it having real problems with them at the moment my passenger side leaf spring as gone weak and the lorry leans on the passenger side and they say there is nothing wrong. wiring loom keeps braking which is a pain when you loose your indicators

Nice Pics
