Load it properly you retard

One of our subbies dropped this in the yard the other week and just ■■■■■■ off without telling anyone.

11t of elecy parts on 10 pallets double stacked because he couldn’t be arsed opening the curtains any further, it wouldnt be so bad but he didnt have any other collections that day either!

Was that 5 lifts then? Wouldn’t even reach the legs :unamused:

Pretty much jay!

Reminds me of when I was the shunter at Tesco, Brackmills. We used to get some French tautliners dropped there and the idiots on the docks would load just 6 one tone pallets on the headboard, I could walk to the back of the trailer and actually lift the rear of the trailer with one hand to show them how stupid they were, they still did it.

Reckon I could still get a low ride unit hooked up to that…

I can not see what the problem is here, he was only checking the tyres for stones and wire in the tread.

:open_mouth: At least he couldn’t be fined £ ■■■ for not winding the landing legs up properly.

The current fine is £60 per trailer leg turn, and a new law out soon, £30 per each flash, when you forget to turn off the flashing beacons and orange lights. They can calculate how long you left the flasheys on by testing the filament in the bulb on their computer.

In this outdated transport system we have in the USA trailers have sliding rear tandems, so you can adjust the wheelbase to certain state laws and re-locate some weight. The problem is the at some loading bays they insist you move the tandems right to the back because the have this strange idea that it the don’t the fork lift truck going on the back of the trailer will lift all 53 feet and the trcuk hooked to the front up in the air
Once loaded it is a real pain trying to get most of them back into position, luckily tankers don’t have them

least he followed the vosa load safe rules

I would have thought EX subbie Lee, did he get the tin tack ■■?

I would have had the wheels and tyres off that in a breath
chuck em in my van, better than driving a wagon all week

Surely the forkie bears some of the responsibility?

When??

I rarely do, some jobs I pick loaded trailers up, others the forkies know their job.
