Has anyone else been following the latest canal breach at Llangollen? There was a bad one at the Bridgewater canal last year too, I guess they’re showing their age after 200 years of use.
What a mess it is when it happens, It’s amazing to watch them construct the coffer damns with tarpauline. Those spider excavators are like something out of Thunderbird two. 
Three narrowboats were lucky not to get flushed out onto the field where the breach happened.
