Hiya if you don t like the show you can ride down town on an old bus…for old times sake…
when in town you have the steam fair and traction engines…along with all the towns folk
dressed in Victorian clothes just as the lorries cavalcade past at 5pm till 6 30…

Llandudno Transport Festival this weekend 1st-3rd may worth a trip across take some photos hope the weather stays nice for a change.Good day out for the family.

I will be there! Setting off on thursday, haven’t got a wagon to show but I will have a milking machine on display. :wink: Given the weather changing though. :angry:

Hiya… its Friday morning for me but I’ll be there come and say hello look for the DAF its white with green stripes I’ll wear my JCB hat that will
narrow things down.I usuall hang out with Kevin Smith he has a ERF and has made his wilcox tipper into a living van.see you there

hope you enjoy this brilliant event,i am sure that you will.good to meet up with you and dave in malta on saturday.i think? that lynxman has posted a picture of dave’s diamond t on the south wales thread.please give my regards to kevin smith,i met him when we went to the charleville show in ireland back in june 2007 when i had my f16,a great guy who’s company we enjoyed all weekend.thanks for the pm mate.

Hiya …I’ve just been to get my truck for the show this weekend i did 8 klicks and the vosa men was on me.this chap pulled along side of me
just as i got off the bypass all lights flashing so i go down the slipway and hes at the side of me (not in front ) so i go left at the round about
and right at the next and he’s behind lights flashing.I looked out of the cab(thick look) do you want me■■? he said were are you going
HOME i said i live up here. I thought you was going to Llandudno i want you on the weigh bridge.this is my 44 ton DAF with no trailer
i get to the weighbridge and the chap said what are you doing… joy riding i told him. He said wheres your trailer. i said i dont have one.
How far have you come. i said 5 miles i live here. what do you do with your lorry he said. joy ride thats all. you must do something.
NO I replyed. are you going to Llandudno?? I might if its sunny i said. is the lorry MOTed yes i said it was done at Llay test station
last month.did you see it there■■? No i was out he said.He could’nt knock the truck as his mates had tested her.we’ll check your lights
and you can go he said.lets see if we get stopped again in the morning thay have a thing about stopping us going to the show.

Hiya…if you did’nt go you missed a real good festival. there was plenty of sunshine and who knows how many trucks /cars /tractors/motor bikes
bus-coaches and stationry engine was on show. book up early for next year.
