Yep got lost, lol, was looking for RH and i ended up on the outer perimiter right nevet to the mersey, lol, got out to tak a look and nearly got blown over the edge, lol, also was parked under one of those turbines, and was wondering what the noise was, got out to take a look and was standing there wondering what would happen i one of the blades came loose?, lol, asthe blades were right over my cab, so i moved the wagon (I know i know wuss) lmao
heres the pics anyways, sorry about the quality as its dont on my Nokia6680
PS: its a pain when you have to wait over 2 hrs to load up at freeport aint it, and whats goin on with the port police, you would think they would check you into the docks, instead of just on the way out, security disaster waiting to happen i think
wish i could scan photos - if you carry on up there through EMR’s scrap depot, almost at the coastguard station there lies a 120tonne drying drum which has been there for about 10 years, some nutcase in ghana wanted to buy it a year or two back so i had to go on safari through half acre puddles and over hills of scrap metal to find and measure it, and look at possible route out…
i have a photo of it with an outbound ACL ship in the background - the spray is blowing 10 foot off the top of the waves and the turbines had shut down long before, i got soaked and frozen and the ghanaian never bought the ■■■■ thing
