So. After my last jaunt around Liverpool and managing 12 out of the 15 drops, I got sent there again. same route. I thought, this time I’m gonna nail it, only got 13 drops on. Doing the checks and the TM comes out and tells me the trucks been loaded back to front, god knows why they have done that he says! I say, ok mate, I’ll start at the other end and work back then? He says yeah great.
Sets off and half way to the first drop he rings and says… " Can you go elsewhere first, he needs his stuff. This place happened to be in the middle of the route . Gets there, had to take a pallet of stuff off the back to get at his. Now I’m well behind and a bit stressed.
So, back to the start of the route and work from there, thought I was gonna do em all at one point but the Liverpool traffic closed in on me and I only managed 11 out of the 13 drops. Back to the depot last again lol.
In compensation. I got a nice trunkin job from Preston to Scotland early Saturday morning. One drop then back for lunchtime. Enjoyed that one
