Little help please

Does any body know of any decent solutions , polishes or sprays etc to buff up black plastic which has faded , the plastic surrounds headlights front number plate and round wheel arches.
Also have a few scratches ( my bad ) on the n/s corner that surrounds the light .I know I can’t buff the scratches out but the scratches have the white / stone colour of the wall I grazed on a country lane .
If I could get rid of the colour through polish , solution etc it would make the scratches far less angry looking , only a few but with it being white/ stone colour on black ( albeit faded ) they seem to shout look at me I’m a big scratch on a lorry +you get my drift .
Thanks all .

Peanut butter, smooth of course oil in it works a treat. Any oil will do the same trick. Back to black trim stuff is usually crap. Tyre shine can work as well. Or if all else fails get a blow torch on it, keep it moving so you don’t melt the plastic and it will bring the oils up out of the plastic and make it black again.
