Hgvs are 50mph on dual 40 on singlecarriagewas.
Wether the cameras can tell if your in a truck or a car who knows…

Average speed cameras read number plates to check each vehicle at start and end of a section. The reg number will also tell the computer whether or not it is registered as a car or a truck etc. Fully automated.

After the Inveralmond roundabout the temp 50mph for trucks is now permanent on the A9. A horrible road being made better bit by bit [emoji4]

There is a truckstop at Bannockburn near Stirling and north of Perth there’s a truckstop at Newtonmore.

Not sure it’s.open weekends.
Basically is a small patch of wasteland with small cafe and shower and.toilets.
Never had a night out there
Also has 24hr. unmanned fuel pumps
