Little help needed

Not to savvy in that part of the world so need a little help please.
Best way to get from M/bro to Dundee
Is it up the A1 then up through e/brough pick up the A92 the way to go or A1 e/brough then up to Perth and cut across.
Or up to Newcastle across the A69 then pick up the A74 to pick up either A92 to Dundee or up to Perth and cut across.
Also n e where decent to night out
Thanks in advance

Hi mate,

Best bet would be A1 to Edinburgh onto A720 (edi bypass) follow to M8 hermiston gate onto M9 onto M90 spur for Queensferry crossing, follow M90 to Perth, stay on M90 across Friarton Bridge which changes to dual carriageway (A90) follow for 20miles to Dundee.

Thanks for the advice
Are there any tolls on the queensferry crossing or friarton bridge

No there all free in Scotland unlike. ripoff England

Only issue is lot.of the bridges tend.to.close when it gets to windy

Any decent parking facilities/ trading estates within an hour of Dundee

Sorry mate forgot to say. Parking wise, there is a massive off road layby right as u come into Dundee (access from southbound only). As long as your not too late you should get parked up there no probs. Second roundabout heading into Dundee there is a big Asda/Aldi on left hand side with industrial estate. Not always the best for parking depending on the time your trying to get in. There used to be a truckstop round the back of that estate but I think its closed now. There are a few more indistrial estates dotted further up the Kimgsway that can be ok if struggling for time.

Thanks for the help / advice
Much appreciated
