For those of you who may not have a class 1 yet , theres C4 Logistics from Coventry. They have a full range from vans upto artics.

also edwards transport, market drayton i think?, green and white scanias and fridge trailers

and also, GBA transport, who i only ever saw with sprinter vans and a couple of 7.5 tonners, but they have artics now, but i have no idea where they are from etc

Boyles transport are based in Scotland,

Trip money but if yoiu want to do a bit they are taking on.

In fact they’re always taking on, can’t seem to keep drivers, don’t know why :sunglasses:

Am sat here and I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
I work for a company that has been running in Europe for the last 20 years … has more units than Pulleyns or CFS (who are in the same area) yet among 22 replies we don’t get a mention. Perhaps that is no bad thing.
Even Betz missed us off his list and that surprised me

Yet we have a minimum of two crossing the Channel EVERY day of the week and oh yes, we had NINE motors run down to Lisbon in the last six days ( I know, I was one of them)

Oh yes, we have offices and a yard abroad too ( better ones than the home base!!) Mind you, we don’t hang about so perhaps we go past you too quick for any of you to read the name

:unamused: erm… have no clue ? sorry Ben

Betz:
 erm… have no clue ? sorry Ben

It’s not a problem, Ben  but I was sure you would have mentioned us

Well?

Bear just a small point
 please put us all out of our misery and tell us who it is you work for

 Ooops just noticed he posted that at 1 am this morning, so he’s probably out on the road somewhere

I stand to be corrected but I think I read somewhere The Bear works for Alan Knight.

You’ve missed the pointed remark to Betz, who is a Willi Betz fan, strange but there you go :stuck_out_tongue: :smiling_imp: ,
not much worse than Eddie Spotters I suppose.

With this thread in mind, I have been keeping an eye out for the last couple of Sunday nights, for companies who frequently use the North Sea crossings. I asked my mates to add any they knew of too. I’m sure we missed a few anyway, which I’m also quite sure will be pointed out  .

But are they taking on■■?
Prob not as the best jobs are usually word of mouth. And yes I have been on the phone to all and sundry.

To be honest Skids ive heard an heavey rumour there might be redundancies, cus the car factories are not producing and nobody is building houses. I will keep you posted!
