Hi, can anyone hp with directions to Linroyale potatoes, mayfield farm, west stockwith. Be coming from the south from Dover. Looks like a few low bridges around, be in a 4m artic.
Haven’t been there, but if it was me i would look at:-
A1/A164 to Bawtry,
A631 to Beckingham
A161 to Misterton (picking up the signs for West stockwith)
Linroyale is on the left once you go through west stockwith.
maps.google.com/maps?q=53.45427 … 1&t=h&z=14
Hopefully someone will be along to ok/suggest an alternate route.
You could come down the A161 from the M180 at junction 2, going through Epworth
This is the route you need to take in from the A161, I’ve been there loads of times in an artic and this is the route everyone uses:
Pretty much every other route has something that will get in your way.
The low bridge on the A161 south of there has a well signed diversion which uses the B1403 just to the west.
So I would go A1, A614, A631, B1403, A161 to Haxey then take the route I’ve linked above.
Which gives you this: goo.gl/maps/n7Al7
I’m 99% sure that route is free of low bridges but someone had better check to make sure as I’ve not got a trucker’s atlas handy.
HTH,
Paul
Cheers, got in the way redboxer said. The turn for west stockwith is before the low bridge in Misterton when coming from the south, so was simple enough from there.

Fair enough, I was told you couldn’t get through West Stockwith but whoever told me that was clearly talking nonsense…
