Does it need a major modernisation or keep it as it is ?
If it aint broke, why fix it.
200 trucks a night and our EE cousins use it.
What is your opinion on the food, showers and staff ?
If you had the money ,what would you improve?
The showers at the back by the kitchen have windows that you can see in.
The dining area is dated now and the seats are too far away from the tables.
It is tucked away and has character. And secure.
On arrival you are parked in order of your departure time.
But many move their lorry so the guy behind can get out if you go in the cafe for a cuppa or wash in the morning.
If i was the owner,i would be buying the land either side to expand it more.

I’d be investing in hard standing for the land I already had, but it seems the owners there don’t like to spend 1 pound that isn’t absolutely necessary. The place is a dump and always has been for the last 20 years. Lots of threads on here about it.
Agreed. Not a penny spent there for 45 years. The food is ok if you have four legs.
Not been in there for years once was enough, it’s a dump.
Was in there on friday night , first time in eons!!!
It is desperately needing money spent on it, but no doubt that will increase the prices then drive the custom away . even just modernising the shower blocks and wash room, quite surprised it can get away with the showers and toilets in that state nowadays. and it was like watching Smokey and the Bandit when 2 or 3 wagons came in together, couldnt see owt for dust.needs something done with the hardstanding , its worse than our yard…
Lincoln Farm is one of the few old places left, loads of others have long gone.
I used to go in there for my break when I was on nights back in 68.Remember the gaffer looking for his missus when it was busy,we didn`t like to tell him what we had seen in our headlights when we drove in,she was straddled over the bonnet of a car with a Scotsman from Ayr

MMTM?
Reefer drivers ain’t welcome in there so they can poke it up their ■■■.
LFC do take fridges but park them outside the main gate in the narrow lane.
If get there too late, and there is no room to park, they park any type of truck by the front gate but still charge you to park.
Even though the truck is not on their property.
If not parked up by 17.00 to 18.00 you will find it full up by then.
The owners are religous. And in the 70’s he owned about 100 trucks on an oil/gas contract.
Food is usually good and generous portions.
Showers are powerful and hot.
Staff are friendly and polite.

That’s what they did to me,paying for secure parking outside the gate??
Bollox!!
Will never stop there again.
And what’s with the charging £1:50 for a wash in the sink??
I seem to remember seeing that on the chalk board…
If you want a long walk to burn off the LFC mixed grill, turn right out of the front gate.
Under the railway bridge.
Bear right.
Brook and stream on the right.
Turn left on the road to end up in the small hamlet.
Pub there.
Keep going and you end up on the dual carriagway back to LCF.
Just in time for the lap top dancing.
The lane outside the front gate must be a public road and they can not charge parking there.
They do not own a public road.
That is fraud.
I got charged too for parking outside when it was full up.
I dread to think what the hygeine standards are in the kitchen.

The 1.50 was for a quick bash at the owners missus not for a wash in the sink it was all in code see above …
I wouldn’t mind paying that then!!
