Often on blinged up motors there is a large round light below the mirrors. Followed an SNT topline with these lights, showing orange facing back. I would have thought that they would be quite a distraction, staring right at a light every time you look in the mirror?
For some time I drove a Mk6 Transit Luton that had a 10w bulb inside the indicator repeater so a constant orange light on the side, you got used to it but for a couple of days it caught me out every time.
Most of those I’ve seen showed orange on the front and red on the rear, and also flashed with the indicator. I quite liked them actually

the ones I saw this morning were as bright as brake lights, except orange!
its just a bit suntanned be alright soon
think the cloggys started it on their trucks and all the wannabe euro drivers followed suit,usually also seen with the bullfighting spears in the window 
It started in Spain , Murcia area i think, i used to see them about five years ago ,At first i thought it was a local law or something as i thought they were extra indicators but its a not , just toys for boys, Had mine for a few years l.e.d. ones from Hella got them from fsb in the Neatherlands

They look like indicator lights off a Commer 2 stroke

I’d say the Basque region, a lot of Macks imported up there and those lights are standard Americana, probably filtered down from that

Makes a change for you to do something useful for me. And with only one piece of twin core it was less likely to set on fire. I remember when you wired my spotlights up on my Daf
And As for being a wannabe Eurotrucker, I don’t even wannabe going out of Yorkshire if I can help it
