Does anyone on here ever check them ?
Probably not, common sense seems to do the trick.
But my daily journey includes the A535 north out of Holmes Chapel, past Jodrell Bank (impressive sight BTW) towards the A34.
On this road, there is a short stretch where trees completely overhang the road, making it pretty dark, even on a bright day.At this time of year,I’m going through this at dusk o clock,so I stick my lights on regardless of the time.
Unfortunately, vehicles coming towards me don’t bother, especially the dark ones
So I’ve taken to checking lighting up times in that area to cover my a**e in case there is ever a “coming together”.
I found this site to check them, and hours of fun can be had whilst waiting to tip timeanddate.com/sun/uk/manchester
I like this sort of stuff too.
You may be able to waste some time on the following site, it shows the direction of the sun on a map + does all the sunset twilight times suncalc.net/#/55.4407,-2.8845,9/2016.10.23/13:45

I fish four or five lakes for big carp down those roads, and yes the little posh Wayne kerrs who drive with no lights on is shocking! how can you not see anyone wearing DPM camouflage is beyond me! especially farmwood pool on your right from Chelford to Holmes chapel. Lol.
