I may have some temporary light van work lined up whilst I am waiting on my provisional to come back to me from DVLA.
In this case do I need to adopt GB domestic rules? I am presuming the van will be a Ford Transit or smaller. I also won’t need any special licences for this will I? (Current entitlement is only a car)

vans and driving regulations just drive .drive drive then drive some more . everything needs to be there hours ago and when that’s delivered theres more .
I doubt the average White Van Man knows the domestic regs even exist. I’ve done driver’s mate work with a WVM and we did a 12 hour shift to London and back with no break.
Tachograph the bloody lot of them, why should truck drivers have to follow one set of rules , whilst theses van drivers don’t follow any rules…
Domestic ones… as its been said, most don’t even know they exist. If they got pulled, they’d probably lie through there teeth " I’ve only been driving a few hrs " then its your word agains the traffic office / the plod …theres no physical proof

as a van driver , I totally agree with the above .
