Light at the end of the tunnel

Well after a year where I started to wonder how many more I might see , we’ve finally got some positive news , prostrate is as was , no change with a psa test & phone consultation later this month
Diabetis , well had 3 month check up , blood test Grantham & eye screening at sleaford , nurse happy with checks other than high blood pressure ( thought it was getting wound up before having biopsy that had raised it , obviously not .
So blood test came back with hbc of 41 , which my girl who’s a nurse said is brilliant , so wLking , diet has worked , thought I was now in remission , but nurse just said you’ve got it under control , but still well done , eye test shows no diabetis in eyes , again good news
Blood pressure was 160/170 at diabetis check up ,so then told I had to do it am / pm at home & fill in a chart for doctors to look at , provided a blood pressure monitor & mrs ( nhs ) does it , getting 130 in morn ( ok ) & 140 mostly pm with odd 150 ( better than what nurse got
Heart mumur just think have had from a kid , so they’ve not mentioned it , so neither have I
So nice to get something positive for a change , and hopefully all the others on her with health issues have also got some positive news , happy new year

Doze, good to hear things are on the up for you.

Lots of stuff there I don’t understand but I guess we all have some issues coming down the line.

Good health.

Nice one doze, pleased for ya.
Maybe it’s a message, and time to quieten yourself down a bit, (and/or get a job with reasonable hours and no pressure), you keep telling us you do all this ■■■■ just for ‘pocket money’ . :bulb:

There is no light at the end of the tunnel, it is the boss with a torch bring more work. :open_mouth:

I’m pleased that your health is on the up Dozy. I still maintain that in a village of simpletons you’d struggle to be anything other than average but this place for one would be a more dreary place without you. Good luck for the future too.

   brilliant

It’s Prostate not Postrate btw, two entirely different things.

An improved diet rather than manky oranges and cans of pop might help

That is only the start of a very long list, when you read some of dozy’s posts. …if they are true that is.

Why you think not? I would take that as my first readings

Because the way you have written it, effectively makes you dead.

If your BP is at 160, you have a serious problem, trust me, I know.

Your first figure is systolic, and should be at around 140 or lower. So it should read, for example, 140/90, (And even that is high.)

So if you have a home BP testing machine, look at both sets of figures on the screen and then post back.

My Systolic is regularly over 180 and my Diastolic is around 100. The highest I had was 230 and they stopped the treadmill. At present with oxygen I can get my vital stats to a reasonable level.

Using Oxygen I get between 77% and 92% saturation. Heart Rate 32 to 95bpm and BP 140/90 - 180/100. My specialists are not concerned about those figures now and I have a perty prostate
