Since losing my licence,I am applying to be a Hinman, hoping won’t be long till I get them back
sorry, got to ask. What is a Hinman?
Binman
Bin man ?
And not a bad job either, job and knock and people appreciate you more than being a lorry driver.
Just remember to make as much noise as you can and leave all the stuff lying about you can’t be arsed to take…

pity he never meant hitman.
its saturday night and a good time to start a trolling post consisting of pure pish.
i wonder if they will suplly him with a measuring tape so he can leave the overfilled bins cause the lids sticking up a tad…
Without sounding patonising, bin man? Are you been serious ? I thought you were going to say that you had found something better than driving, that is pretty much like saying life after a footballer, then applying for a road sweepers job. I honestly cannot understand the life after driving caption with this post.
Tractor (agric) driving, just as much money and a whole lot less manure.
I miss going places though - might go awol, hook her up to a stupidly long oversized trailer with no lights or plates and blaze a trail (at 10mph) along the whole length of the 75
Sorry, had me beer goggles on last night. Regarding being a bin man though, its an OK job, not brilliant by any means. Be prepared for a lot of walking and residents getting mouthy at you over petty things.

Didn’t realise you lived in the same area as me and have the same binmen.

Wouldn’t be out of place. There’s one farmer near me who goes the whole route from Selby to Flamborough near Bridlington with a tractor delivering grain, must be over 50 miles and he goes up the main holiday route to the coast as well when he does.
i worked on and off on the bins driving a lorry around belfast for a couple of years.
the 2 plus points for me apart from job and knock, plus they are the laziest union operated bone idle work shy shower any excuse not to do the job, was that
1 the wages were abysmal but it meant that i wasnt doing a shift for tesco.
and
2 the fact you ware driving about all day with four mental ■■■■■■ binnies having their daily ongoing craic was almost payment enough.
i believe directly employed by the council gave them much better wages that i was getting,so its a cushy enough number if your happy working outdoors.

I can relate to that,
