Anyone had any problems with the goods in staff there specifically the red headed women in charge of goods in?
Long and short after being told to go wait and for the second time and not come back for an hour as I walked out I said jeez this is ■■■■■■ crap. Returned in the hour to be told that I was under investigation to be banned for a bad attitude and an e-mail had been sent to head office and they were awaiting a verdict as to whether I could tip, two fellas on the desk both agreed that I had not swore at them or been abusive in any way but she had heard me swear and lodged the complaint. Eventually got tipped anyway at 12.30 and left at 13.00. Later my boss gets an e-mail form Lidl head office along with the complaint e-mail to say it would make Alice in Wonderland look factual is an understatement, apparently endless abuse and swearing at the staff, the timings that they have put down are all wrong and this can be backed up by the booking in sheet and tacho. Luckily boss is 100% and has sent an e-mail back stating that if they cannot get their story correct on something as simple as the time when the alleged event happened then there is no reason to believe their story.
I have delivered to just about every Lidl in the UK and know the score with them and never come across anything like this, so just wondering if this is the norm for down there have delivered twice there before with no problem.
I’ve not had any issues like that there but normally have to wait ages either for a bay or for paperwork after tipping.

When I initially booked in they asked for my phone number but then refused to take it as it is an Irish number I asked if they had pagers like at all the other Lidls’ so maybe they’re suffering an inferiority complex because they aren’t allowed to have them. They also banned another driver today and were having trouble clearing the bays, after I left they were still putting people onto bays so maybe it was just an excuse not to take a full load
