weve got a 68 yr old driving for us , is there a age he has his license taken off him or can he carry on till when :question: does he have to have more medicals as he gets older, are they more strict :question:

my grandfather still drove HGV’s untill he was 65 years old…the last few years he done shunting in the yards. they have to sit medicals etc like us all… you not heard of the age discrimination act, companies need to be careful now.

Renewing your driving licence entitlement for larger vehicles, minibuses or buses at 45 or 65

As long as he passes the medical then he can drive. From age 45 - 65 you take a medical every 5 years, then from 65 on you take them yearly.
