I have a “friend” who has a C+E and it expires on his 70th Birthday along with every other class 
My licence was due for renewal at 65 and 10 months,but i got a reminder from the DVLA with a medical form in about 2 months before my 65th birthday telling me,that to keep my entitlement i needed a medical before(on on)i presume,my 65th?make of that what you will,but its fact!

just had a look at my licence and C+E runs out the day before my 66th birthday, whereas before I renewed last year it ran out on my 65th birthday (or the day before)I wonder how many like me keep it on even though no intention of using it again.
