Just got my licence back from dvla after passing C in a manual, yet on looking closely, I’ve found there is still an 078 code, restricted to auto, on my D licence. I was under the impression that if you passed D auto, then C manual,it automatically upgraded you to a full D licence? Or have dvla cocked up again??

Send it back after April 10th
Well, after eventually getting through to Swansea, I get told “oh, ok, send it back with a covering letter and we’ll remove the 078 code from your bus licence.” Oh right, you mean like you SHOULD have already done? Jesus wept, how friggin hard is it for them to watch what they’re doing?? Think they’re the ones who need the bloody eyesight test. Useless turds

Yep my D with 078 had the restriction removed when I passed my C in a manual. Sounds like an oversight by DVLA
