A couple of points;
It’s your word against hers, no need to lie, they cannot prove anything & as such would not have a leg to stand on should any form of punishment come your way.
How come you bumped into an HR manager? I don’t even know what my companies looks like.

I had a slightly similar situation involving a female many years ago, from the tone of the conversation i fully expected a behind the back attack like you are getting so i mentioned the situation to the senior shop steward, he answered with a hearty laugh and re-assured me that no bugger at the company would believe them if it should be reported anyway.

Next thing youl be sitting in the gaffers office holding a teddy bear pointing out where she touched you.For a female to get so worked up that she needs to lie her way out of it there must be some ■■■■■■ / emotional shenanigans (hell hath no fury like a woman scorned etc). Or perhaps she is just a vindictive ■■■■■ or even mental.
Having the highest regard for the female of the species and being mindfull that we have lady members on this forum (‘lady members’ now that phrase tickles me for some reason, or more accurately tickles me nose when im in the mood), im sure the situation could be resolved with either a hug, apology or gentle slap.
Life has taught me that the best way to win an argument with a woman is to admit defeat or distract them with a present of either: flowers, box of chocolates, cuddly animals or a giant ■■■■■.

Do not go down the road of countering her lie with some of your own because it will bite you in the backside. Not least that it has been suggested on here and have no doubt it will somehow be found out. A false accusation of ■■■■■■ assault could land you in very hot water and I’m my opinion is a stupid thing to do.If you are a fine upstanding bloke and your gaffers think you are a decent guy who would not do what this woman is saying then you have no problems. Its your word against hers. If however your boss takes her story as truth then ■■■■ it up and move on, they obviously don’t think much of you and its not worth sticking around.

i once worked at a university just doing security ect, one evening had an alarm call at one of the departments and when i turned up it was the female head of dept, she was having problem,s using the alarm system and i tried to show her how to use it before she knackered it up alltogether, she took offence at this as being security i was lowest of the low, didnt say anything wrong but next day got into work and she had but a complaint in similar to the op.s , apparently i called her a thick cow ect, which i didnt … when i put my side of the story no one would believe me and got asked the question why would she lie?? it went on my file but because there no witnesses nothing more…
imagine my glee when a few months later she was arrested for fraud and had fiddled the dept she was heading out of £1000,s and when it went to court she had a previous record of fraud…

Well if it goes any further dude about the supposed swearing etc her word against yours… if there where no witnesses… nothing to worry about, If she’s claiming the above, then here’s a little H&S knowledge that wont hurt if you get called in in front of the bosses etc.
Ask if she’s read and understands the following
Yard - Risk assessment
Vehicle movement - Risk assessments
Individual persons yard movement- Risk assessment
Then if she confirms the above then ask her to produce them…and who signed her training off…
Have you reported a near miss accident ? I can’t envisage a scenario in a properly organised yard wherby an office based member of staff would be walking inbetween moving trucks and trailers . Is there a laid out walkway ? Was she wearing high viz in the yard ?

Thanks Mike you got there first… the good old RIDDOR report…ask to see a copy off, signed, dated and when was it submitted to the local borough H&S executive

there was a walkway but I did check before reversing as you do but she was nowhere near it and she was not wearing hi viz

they have now taken her word over mine and I have been banned from the site,but on the plus side I have been put on a better contract within the company,so worked out ok for me in the end
