RTITB are in Telford, they’ll give you a free assessment, which is worth doing even if you don’t end up training with them as they are quite expensive. Otherwise, can only recommend West Midlands Transport Training in Aldridge which is other side of Walsall.
I can only reccommend A1 training which is near b’ham city centre insaltley, well pleased with them as I’m going back to do my C+ E with them after easter
Hi mate you could try British HGV in Cannock, have a couple of mates who instruct for them only trouble is its a single axle trailer which is a pain in the arse to reverse sorry mate thats only relevant if you are doing C+E, youll be fine if its just for the C then
There’s Bassetts Transport Training at Tittensor on the A34 north of Stone. I passed both classes 2 & 1 with them in last 2 years, both first time.
Also ANC now part of FedEx UK at Parkhouse Industrial Estate off A34 at Chesterton north of Newcastle-under Lyme. Two mates of mine passed tests with them in last 2 years. Jobs will follow with FedEx if you want trunking, but have to start on nights.
I can whole heartedly recommend Brigtish Hgv in Hednesford (Cannock) as i just passed the Lgv C+E with them on a 5 day course at the first attempt. The instructor was excellent and they do an initial assessment for free and won’t rip you off on retests as they do them at cost. £170 for a retest. Compare that to other schools and you will see how much you would save if for example it took you 3 test attempts to pass . I did my Lgv C with Sterling training and got seriously ripped off. The retests alone were nearly £300. Clearstone are pants too from what ive heard and i seem to remember reading somewhere they are in trouble financially so steer well clear of both. Thats AVOID STERLING and CLEARSTONE they are only interested in money nothing else.
Good luck whoever you go with mate. Its a bit of a minefield but this is a good place to get recommendations.
id recommend british hgv in cannock, i did c and c+e with them and passed both first time
