I am a class 1 holder and have been thinking of adding pcv to my license, was just wondering would I need to sit the theory or just the practical?
Do you already have provisional D ?
If yes then no need for a new medical
You will need to do PCV modules (not 2 and 4 if you have pre 97 licence)

1b HPT
2 dcpc theory
3 practical road drive/reverse
4 dcpc practical
what is your current situation in regards to D provisional and date of car test ?

Then you need all those modules
Once all modules have been passed PCV dcpc gets added to your current DQC and has the same expiry as your current LGV
