Don’t go asking that plank what he does… It’s that brilliant he can’t tell no one
He hasn’t upset me yet so i’m classing him as a friendly at the moment

Not really keen on forklift which i think is the moffet you mention Andy. Looks like the lorry loader issue is a lot more complicated than i first thought. Lots of categories. I assumed all the lorry loaders i see out and about is one course and you’re qualified. I also think that there is an overlap with the CPCS system. I had considered this before but didn’t fancy working on a building site. Plus you get your red card and are then screwed as no sod will give you a job without the blue card. Don’t know why they need to maker things so complicated. Bit like paypoint and payzone.
Looks like ALLMI is the best to go with for HIAB training. Rather than CPCS which is a joke. Get a red card but can’t get work without blue. Can’t get blue without work. If i understand it correctly C1 and C5 would be most suitable for builders merchants. C4 would be loading mud, rubble, etc…
Cannot fathom the rest out. Not sure if anyone else can get to grips with it. Link below.
It certainly seems a lot more involved than i first thought. I assumed you do a course that’s it. But seems like there are more complex lifts which require a crane superviser and/or signaller-slinger. Sometimes the driver/crane operator can take on all roles. Looks like something i would enjoy though so i think i will pursue that once i get cat c. Last two theory tests to do tomorrow and friday.
