Hi guys iv got my theory and hazard perception test coming up soon and for the life of me i cant pass the hazard test. i keep getting 66% or under. The theory itself i have no problems with with getting the 90% mark. Any advice to give me so i can pass the hazard

Treat it as a computer game
Did you do the HPT for your car?
Each hazard has a “window of opportunity” for your click. The secret is to click as soon as you see the hazard, count to 2, then click again. There is no way you’ll be disqualified for this technique and it’s worked for hundreds of folks.

Hi Rog yes i did my hpt test for my car about 6/7 years ago and passed no problem just dont know why i cant pass it again. Thanks Pete i’ll give that ago

Reason is because you are now viewing it as an experienced driver and not a very basic learner - you need to go back to firat time car learner mode
Thats the problem im having Rog, Been driving big vans for last 5 years so to me everything is a hazard lol
I used the hazard perception DSA disc, go to the practice clips, avoid the mock test, explains to you alot clearer.
I failed mine first time, then rather than do the mock test I did the practice clips and it worked a treat, good luck!

That’s exactly what I did and it worked. I had a feeling that in some cases I have actually spotted the hazards just before the “window of opportunity” and the second click was a saver.
Hi all well good news is this morning i passed my hazard perception test i got 85 out of 100. Bad new is i failed my theory by 1 point which i really peeded off about. least i only have that part to redo and not the whole lot
