LGV Driver Training in Banbury - Recommended

Anyone considering doing their Class C or C+E in the Banbury area need look no further than JLD Driver Training, located on the Cherwell Business Park on the Southam Road. Although only a small outfit, they are very professional in their approach and aim to get as many of their candidiates through on the first attempt as possible (unlike some others in the area who TBH seem more focussed on maximising their revenue stream through retests…). My employer has just put 8 drivers (including me) through their Class 1 with JLD, and 7 of us passed at first attempt, which speaks volumes for them.

They don’t simply show you the routes (unlike some other training outfits) but concentrate on getting you to drive according to what you can see, rather than what you have been told to expect. They also show you the recommended approach to a few key junctions and intersections that you will be likely to find on your test.

Their training vehicles are an 08 plated Merc 18 tonner and an 05 plated Axor for the C+E.

Good bunch of blokes, with who I have no connection at all other than being a very satisfied customer.

JLD is already on list of Recommended LGV training schools that have been recommended by members, which can be accessed by clicking on the link in my signature

Very well done today - although we give you the tools you need to pass your test its your skill on the day that counts.

Thank you for your kind comments, we are pleased you’re pleased.

Something I have noticed - by putting an announcement of his test pass HERE in the PDF, he has more congrats than those posted in this forum

To be fair, my ‘announcement’ here was cunningly disguised as a recommendation for a training establishment in a particular town. I daresay most non-Banbury residents wouldn’t have given it a second glance.
