I’ve asked this in a thread on the PDF but I think I will probably have more joy here.
My understanding was that from next year, you needed a euro 4 engine to be LEZ compliant.
However, I am seeing trucks with euro 3 engines being advertised as being post-2012 LEZ compliant. Here is one such example. fleetex.co.uk/spec_sheet.asp?UnitID=4104
Harry it’s a complete farce the lez comes in to force on any vehicle registered after the cut off date set by TFL which is the date any new trucks built had to be euro4. However any euro3 vehicles built before that date that hadn’t been sold were registered after the date and are deemed to be lez compliant even though they are euro3. Company I’m with has 4 euro3 56 plates according to TFL one needs an exhaust fitting and 3 are ok even though they are identical just registered on different dates
