ThE 400 series…Probably my favourite engine. Would be grateful if we could get a good thread going on its development, problems, uses, politics, potential developments etc… Particularly if there any people out there who actual were involved
Piston and valve of a leyland 401 engine in a Bristol bus stripped down last Sunday. Three pistons gone and replacements are not cheap. Cheers Phil.
