No probs mate. Blackfriars is easiest as you follow it straight up and onto the 501 at kings cross, then up the 41, job done
Most days at the moment 45 minutes to do mouth pleasant post office to kings cross station.

About 1 or 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon do I take the direct route over Vauxhall bridge and front the traffic and round the congestion zone and straight up the to the m1 or do I take the wimpsroute go back to the 25 and through the tunnel and probable traffics or could even go over the ferry and face a bit of a wait at the port. (Could pick up some duty free though)

I’ll be empty with a 14’9 trailer.
As it’s in the afternoon (no lorry ban), you can take either route – I’d check the traffic before you set out as you might find that there’s too much congestion on either route. Blackwell Tunnel and Tower Bridge aren’t options (height and weight limits) but the Woolwich Ferry might be (though it’ll likely be a long wait, especially if everyone’s using it to avoid congestion elsewhere). As it’s Lewisham, the M25 should be your first option as going through London will mean going through the New Cross one-way system which is always a nightmare because of heavy traffic and 24hr bus lanes, and if the M25’s congested on the north side then using the M11 or A1(M) to avoid it might be an option.

Sorry, scratch the night bit. Thought it said in the morningI’d use Blackfriars and straight up to the 501 myself, then up the 41
What’s the height limit under Holborn Viaduct on the A201 though?
And if you get through that, you can turn right at Mount Pleasant (onto A401 Rosebery Avenue) and that road leads to the A1, which leads to the M1 at junction 2.

No height limit at Holborn. I prefer the 41 out of town rather than the A1 but different strokes and all that
Had a flier at both drops and was tipped for 1145. In my stupidity I rang in to tell them and have been sent Witham instead of home. Not to bothered as kind of knew I’d be out tonight as wasn’t expecting to be away from London early enough.
I used the tunnel as I needed the a12 instead. Ferry was busy when I passed on my way in.
I bottled the 14.9 bridge on the 205 as our trailrs are marked at 14.10 even though they measure 14.9. Only a 10 minute detour.
