Lewis tankers

I wonder if any of you fine folk know what Lewis tankers are like to work for and if the wages are ok?

I know they’re doing Tesco deliveries from Grangemouth, for a slightly below par flat rate.

They’ll no doubt have different contracts up & down the country, my experience in that industry tells me there will be different rates for each. Certainly like that up here, Suckling transport haul for Esso & Shell amongst others & no 2 jobs seem to pay the same.

That’s a fair point sir, I know the job at hensall is for chemicals and is tramping work.

Ah right, it all seems to be fuel delivery work up here, can’t recall seeing them pull anything else. Good luck with it if you go for it, couple of pals of mine have been with them for a few years & don’t complain too much.

I noticed that when they were advertising a few weeks ago.

I clicked on job details, and it said: Apply to Turners (SOHAM) t/a Lewis Tankers, I thought, nah, I’ll save the cost of the email :laughing:
