It’s a wonder anyone survived
The level crossing caused problems today when the system went wrong. The lights were flashing, but the barriers were up, so the vehicles went over and a train had to stop suddenly to avoid an accident. A truck also stalled on the crossing. This was on the A153, where I am still campaigning for the snack wagon in the nearby lay-by. All we need is an accident and they will blame the lady in the snack wagon.
Anyone hear of an accident next to the Whitwood Truckstop last week? There was a couple of fire engines ambulances etc treating someone at the loading bays at the nearby warehouse premises.
