Hi i’am brand new too the industry, i’ve just passed my class 2 and i’am waiting on my D’Tacho too start me new career, i’ve recieved my license back but my cat c is only valid till 2018 ? bit concerned as i cant find an explanation for this ? mind i did notice my photo is due on the same date are the two linked as all my other cat’s are still valid till 2037 ( A,B,C1 ) or am i being a bit daft ? :question: :unamused: …sorry new! posted in wrong place

All Cat C and D licences now expire every five years and in most cases will be in line with your photo card. So renew category at five years, photo and category at ten years, category next five years etc etc

The renewal at five years now includes some kind of medical declaration - but not an actual medical
