Legal?

I know this has been spoken about time after time but I carnt find the thread.

I finished work at midnight last friday and I’ve had this week as holiday.
Can I claim a 45 off then work sunday to friday night shift next week then take a reduce and do sun-friday again with a 45hr rest to follow ie starting again monday night?

I’m sure I can as holiday is rest in my eyes so this sunday wouldn’t be a reduce but the following sunday would be?

At a glance it sounds ok but for a definite answer you’d need to post start and finish times and on which days, just to make sure you’re getting the right answer

Finished last shift-

Friday 22nd night 0000

Holiday mon 25th till friday 29th

Start again sunday 31st at 1430,do 6 days till 5th Feb.

Take reduce restart on sun again till friday then take 45 rest.

I’m sure it’s fine but just double checking.
I normally do 6/5 but when I have a holiday for a week I’m sure you can get 2 sundays in before taking min 45 off.

As long as the reduced is over the minimum 24 hours, I can’t see any problems at all, just make sure whatever compensation you need is doable when you have your full weekly rest, which I imagine it is if you regularly do 6/5 days.
