Who collects the agreement ?

The drivers have to do it or the drivers representative if they have one like some larger hauliers do. The management cannot implement it without the drivers agreement.

When I worked at 3663

Are 3663 still going or did bidvest buy them ? Also i have heard its hard hard work ?

3663 are still going and they are ‘owned’ by Bidvest…it’s a long, complicated story which I can’t be bothered to type but basically, it has to do with the sale of Booker C&C. 3663 & Bidvest are basically the same company (they both used to be Booker Foods)…Bidvest is ‘logistics’ and do KFC, BK, Pizza Hut etc, 3663 do the pubs, schools and that malarkey and yes, some aspects of 3663 is hard work…mine isn’t, but after all this wet weather, I feel the need to grease the hinges on the trailer doors

Having a google it would appear if you work between 00.00 - 04.00 the maximum shift is by law 11hrs

But according to my boss this can be opted out of ?

So whats the point of the law if you can opt out ?

Luckily, there’s no danger of finding myself working more than 4 hours between 00:00 and 04:00, since I don’t drive across time zones.

There was an Englishman, an Irishman and a Welshman happily working nights.

They needed a new recruit, who would you choose?

Aha! A trick question. Is the answer the black Scottish rabbi?
