In a rush to get out of yard before they found me something to do i left card in so on my 9 off its counted it all as other work 
What’s the best thing to do ? i have put it in diary and done a print out and wrote on it what happened but other than that is there anything i can do?

You’ve done everything you need to do. I would suggest in situations like this taking two printouts and writing on the back of both. You then hand one into the office and retain one yourself, that way you save yourself a lot of grief when the office lose the one you handed in.
