Who runs these on there grills and is there a requirement on colours I see there becoming popular are they wired to side lights or just Need a power source
I think the only requirement is that they can not look and function like the lights on emergency vehicles.
any colour except red is legal including blue so long as they dont strobe.
Those on the new shape scania are a bloody pain when they flash someone in, they’re like a speed camera flash
Just be aware that tapping into the LED feed to add circuits or lamps can play mayhem with the system. LEDs are quite delicate circuits compared to the traditional cut a cable and joint in to any old power supply.
