Harry Monk:
You can’t lie about how long you’ve had your licence.
You can lie about anything, it’s just some lies are easier to get away with. Yes the licence has issue dates on it but Sam wasn’t aware of this and his employer might not have bothered to check. One thing’s for sure, the insurance company will bother to check in the event of a claim being made and the insurance will be void.
If that hasn’t worried you Sam, perhaps the thought that you admitted to lying to your employer on a public forum using your real name should.
Oh yes, the public forum bit always comes along when all else fails
No, it hasn’t worried me because I failed to state which job it was I told white lies for, even though I stated my first, i could have had more before or plenty since.
I did something similar, booked a week off from my warehouse work and went in another company for “free” for the week…got the job driving plus a 11k a year payrise
That was 8 years ago now,im still at the same company…over 8 years that puts me @ 88k for doing 1 free week.
No need to get personal Harry. For the record, my ultimate aim is to be TNUK’s village idiot, so thanks for the recognition!
I was just pointing out to Sam a couple of potentially costly mistakes he’s made; lying to his employer and admitting the lie in writing for all to see, including his employer.
Sam is a big boy and can look after himself, he doesn’t need a silly old man to fight his battles for him so behave yourself.

I have to be honest Sam, you’re coming across like someone who is a little bit worried.
