I work for Wincanton doing home deliveries I’m a porter at the moment and I have had a couple unsuccessful practical tests for cat c license.
Id like to know if I can drive our trucks on a provisional license with my driver supervising.
I can get a taco card no problem if I need one, we use 18 tonne Dafs that are rarely fully loaded, a company as big as Wincanton I would have thought would have this sort of insurance to cover this as they have designated driver trainers.
I’m wondering if my driver can supervise me even though he’s not got trainer cpc, he has had his licence for 8 years now.

As stated in that link - with correct insurance and L plates fitted along with the fact that your supervising driver is legal to do so it just leaves the Driver CPC issue … up to you and your company to decide on that one!
