I still run a 1993 LDV 400 with the peugeot 2.5 non turbo engine and it has never let me down in the seven years I have owned it touring all around the UK. I tow a 17 ft caravan with it plus a load of vintage machinery for shows, about 4.5 tonnes gtw and it is more comfortable to drive than the Transhits that I drove (and with far less rotten metal!) , could do with a high top now though so a later version might be purchased.
