MSA’s never used to stink of P! but now we have Adblue which is basically just pigs urine I wonder if that is actually what is giving off the smell■■
Just a thought…
Madguy
2 reasons why it’s not.
www.crownoil.co.uk:
AdBlue consists of 32.5% of high purity urea and 67.5% of de-ionised water.
spill adblue on ur clothes then tell me you dont stink of ■■■■

I never said it didn’t smell like ■■■■, ■■■■ also contains urea, possibly where the smell comes from? No idea. But the rumour that Ad Blue is pigs ■■■■ is bull crap - or is it?

has anyone noticed the state of our laybys?bags of ■■■ dumped(sorry couldnt help myself)in the hedges, now ime not going to blame this all on the eastern block drivers which according to some members who think eastern europe is called poland, and any country ending in stan doesnt count, but ive noticed on the A34 some laybys where the same trucks are parked for 3 or 4 days without any toilets, now believe me ive never gone that long without going and i really dont believe these are uk/french etc drivers who have gone to the trouble of buying eastern european numberplates for there trailers to fool us,maybe its a national pastime out there to save money on there water meters, but i do think laybys should have a time limit on parking in them to stop this disgusting habit,if i ever go to pol–sorry eastern europe the first thing i will do is repay the favourHow is that laybys in Poland look much better than in UK? Obviously there is much more Polish drivers there, and much less British drivers, so according to your statement above, they should be dirtier?
And also: if you had to park somewhere in Poland for few days, you would not have problem to find a free or at least reasonably priced parking space with facilities nearby.
Done a few overnighters down in dover last week, the parking situation down there is bloody ridiculous. Every layby within a 40 mile radius full to the brim with foreigners from about 7pm onwards. Any other road users needing to pull over off the main carriageway - forget it.
Can you blame these foreigners, or anyone, for not wanting to pay £20+ to park? I don’t. Its extortion and transports expensive enough as it is. The only time the authorities seem to take truck parking seriously is in response to nimbys wanting us shifted.
I stoped on the A41 near hemel a few years back, walked round got in passengerside no probs. Next morning went to jump out passenger door and on the ground at the bottom of my steps was a large fresh pile. If i’d have caught them i’d have emptied my bladder out of the window.

None of the parking areas on the A4 towards Katowice for example smell of pee and they are full of Polish trucks, along with many other Eastern European trucks. There does not seem to be a great deal of litter either at parking areas or at the hundreds of restaurant areas on the roads. I would say the Polish facilities be it a proper truck stop new or old school (Las Vegas) to a local fuel station are fabulous. Even the rest areas which generally are a toilet block with shower with quite often a cleaner on site are by far better than a lot of other western countries.
I find it hard to believe that all the problems you talk of are the result of people from Central and Eastern Europe. The only toilet training required in Poland at this time is in Kraków when the stag dos arrive and they are most certainly from the West. I am back to the UK for some of the easy work for a month or 2. I will not eat at any sort of service station because it is expensive dire food, I will bring my own, which I will bag my rubbish and I will hold it all in until I reach my destination. I will also not be fishing either.
Welcome home Andy! And bring us some cake!

Urea serves an important role in the metabolism of nitrogen-containing compounds by animals and is the main nitrogen-containing substance in the urine of mammals.
The services smelt of ■■■■ many years before Ad Blue and before we had the influx of trucks from the Former communist blok, except for a few Haungarocamion and they were a novelty.
Many well used laybys were also in a rough old state and I’ve heard of many British drivers on here talking about [zb]ing in a carrier bag and you can’t tell me they all bag them and put them in a bin?
The one thing I’ve always noticed when coming back to the UK from the rest of Europe is how much litter and rubbish there is everywhere. People seem to think nothing of throwing rubbish from their vehicle, no respect for anybody else.
I’m sure there are dirty messy drivers from East Europe, but we have plenty of dirty [zb]s of our own who don’t give a ■■■■ about the state they leave a layby or parking area in.
