Latvian drivers wanted

Is it because we have had more immigration than most other country’s in a short space of time.
Also somewhere like the USA which is made up of different races may be more accepting of immigration.

can you imagine the hassle you would get for advertising something on the lines of:
“hgv drivers wanted, most work is carried out at night, and for health and safety reasons we can not employ black, or asian people.”

You owe me a new keyboard for that one Phil, this ones covered in coffee

off topic a bit, but there was a cracking incident somewhere in australia.
a guy put an advert in his local paper, and the censors didn’t pick up on it.
house for sale etc,etc,etc.
“no ASIANS”.
then the press turned up on his doorstep, the street was full of journalists, and TV crews. the old man didn’t know what the [zb] was going on. then the penny dropped. the advert should have said “no agents”

TBH I have not, and by that than I have to say that British people are in 70 % + racist as there was no day in this country I spent without being discriminated due to my Country of origin.

I suppose it depends how you define “racist” or “discriminated”.

I have never acted in an offensive way towards anyone of any race, colour or creed simply because of their ethnic origins. At the same time I believe UK immigration policy over the last 50 years or so has had a hugely detrimental effect on working people- immigration only happens because those with wealth and power wish to drive wages downwards.

I believe that immigration should be cut to near-zero, and that every incentive should be given to recent immigrants to return to their countries of origin.

I also do not believe that there is greater intolerance of foreigners in the UK than in any of the other 25+ countries I have visited in my job.
