As for taking pictures while driving, itβs relatively easy to setup the camera on a small tripod on the dash and then, er, somehow remote trigger itβ¦
The smaller Point and shoot cameras donβt always have this feature thoughβ¦
But there are always going to be people complaining of photography while driving where ever you are.
This shot was taken whilst I was doing 70mph on the inside lane of the M1 northbound sometime back. The camera (a DSLR) was lying in the cab on my coat and the remote trigger plugged in and, er, my work bag sitting on it.
I got about 200 of these shots before the memory card filled up and it didnβt take any more.

well when i was driving down m6 the other day minding me own buisness whilst making a brew eating me sandwich noting that the laptop on the dash was playing the dvd film a bit loud and then me mobile rang and interuppted me sending an email this pillock in a car passed me doing about 70 mph AND he was talking to his passenger whilst waving 1 arm about so i got my other fone and in between mouthfuls of tea and butty i reported him to police for driving without due care and attention.
that was my good deed for the day
Coffeeholic:
Please donβt anybody mention my videos as it will get me hung drawn and quartered when conclusions are jumped to. That would be despite using one of theseb-hague.co.uk/camera_suction β¦ mounts.htm
and a remote cable which causes no more effort or distraction than operating the windscreen wipers or the indicators.
Iβd love to meet one of these drivers who maintain 100% concentration on driving 100% of the time, what is the secret?

Iβm coming to the conclusion that those drivers that need100% concentration 100% of the time, could be a bit of a liability in heavy traffic during adverse weather conditions, theyβll probably get into a βbrain overload situationβ and crash into something.

Actually
When I think about it
Thereβs a lot of them on the road.
In reference to another thread, I like the idea of an advanced driving level. that would allow those drivers, who are actually capable of doing 2 things a to once, the chance to do it. Because the way things are going, weβll all have automatic gearboxes, and will not be allowed to take a hand off the steering wheel whilst driving at all.
People used to go driving because itβs a more interesting and challenging job than working in a factory, the way things are now. It sometimes seems like it would be more fun, fitting wheels at Nissan.
