Big Jase:
I do actually have a point Mike and Im not assuming…
The only point you’re trying to make is to back up your false allegation. Make sure you know your facts before you go accusing people of things.
Another classic instalment Mike, keep them coming
A good read Mike,as always
Pity about the comments from the “thought Police” who have never done anything wrong in their lives.
Quite sad really, using todays sad news to criticise from the “moral high ground”
Excellent diary as usual Mike.
Ignore the detractors mate, they only start up when either of their 2 brain cells collide in to each other, sad aren’t they? I gather that ‘Big Jase’ is in HA or something similar. Another trucking wannabee
Great diary as usual Mike,
And long may you continue driving dangerously whilst stationary
fingers:
you’ll also notice rog that the penguin (or whatever the [zb] thing was![]()
![]()
) isnt wearing a hi viz vest or safety shoes on the dockside!!!
Hilarious Fingers,is it on or two fingers by the way
Mike-keep up the good work,i don’t know what’s funnier your humour or the aftermath lack of humour
Tell you what Mike you print what you want and believe what you want, several of the pictures you have posted intimate you have originated them.
They appear to have been taken whilst the vehicle was being driven and appear from to be from the drivers seat.
If drivers wnat to use a lap top behind the wheel, take pictures do whatever other than concentrate on driving 42 tonnes of machinery nd not killing asnyone, then fine please carry on, kil someone and go to prison for it, lose you job, lose your license.
Do what you please. I won’t be posting anymore as a old friend was one killed last night I have just found out, and I really dont want to be pulled into a petty ■■■ for tat argument
If drivers wnat to use a lap top behind the wheel,
WTF are you on about, i don’t mean the fact that you can’t spell “want” but if you took the time to look again the truck was in neutral ,the engine was shut down and everything else in sight was stopped.
Where’s Rob k when you need his intellectual skills eh!

the engine has been turned off has’nt it? either that or his truck has a very low idle speed
EDIT: Looks like he got ignition on as air brake symbol is showing and display telling him he is in neutral
…end result is he wasnt movin no matter if it was on/off/idle

Don’t you? But you did want to comment on it and now you don’t like the response? I was sat in stationary traffic for an hour, well it turned out to be 2 hours and according to the Radio reports the motorway was closed, i was sat in it stationary i wanted to know what was up and when we might get going. Everyone else was out of their vehicles walking about, talking on their fones, telling relatives they will be late etc… I even had a wee up my wheel in lane one, lets call the cops and report it !!
The pictures ‘appear’ to have been taken [by me i presume] from the drivers seat? ‘appear’ Bob, ‘appear’.
Now because you have lost an old friend you don’t want to go into it anymore. I didn;t like being refered to by one of your HATO colleagues as the sort of ‘tool’ who causes accidents like this, i didn’t want to go into it anymore either Bob.
Lets say we be more carefull of whom we accuse of doing what hey Bob?
Hope you weren’t parked up when you took pic’s 9 / 10 / 11. (dartford x’ing)
Oh by the way, why didn’t you turn up the road by the Homebase, on the Cray road, that would’ve taken you into that ind estate you wanted ?, or is that the one you went past ? I know exactly where you are on that width restriction, in St Mary’s Cray,
Top diary Mike , as usual

Because it has a 7.5T weight restriction, and a width restriction?
pierrot 14:
I know exactly where you are on that width restriction, in St Mary’s Cray,
Yeah, that’ll be St.Pauls Cray. Its all in the detail

Careful of what Mike? Laptop picture aside, by the way you were still in charge of the vehicle, did you take the other pictures ie Dartford whilst driving?

Careful of judging people or acusing them until you have the facts, you won;t be the first to get egg on their face.I aint in court here and you don;t know nothing, your just assuming. Lets not leave the laptop picture aside, you mentioned it, i’m in charge of the vehicle when i sleep in it and i have the ignition on for my electrical equiptment and as far as i am aware there is no law that prohibits me from using a laptop in a stationary vehicle? And now you’re ‘asking’ if i took pictures at Dartford whilst driving? Just remind me Bob, why are we having this conversation?

So you admit you were driving and taking pics
Sorry but if you go there again, I think you’ll find it says except for access and the width restriction is at the end of that road, how do you think the Homebase lorries get to deliver at the rear of the shop
And isn’t there a sign for the industrial estate you wanted at that junction ?
Apologies on that one yes St Mary’s Cray is a little bit further south, about a mile south

You won’t make it as a solicitor !! If i’m driving and its dangerous and illegal to take a fotograph whilst driving then i wouldn;t take a fotograph whilst driving. Is there some concept of you being wrong in your assumption that you don’t understand?

There was no sign for the Industrial Estate, its not even an Industrial Estate. Its a buisness park and its ‘unclassified’ on any map. I think the Homebase lorries deliver in there easily as you can see their entrance from the main road.
And i now know the width restriction is at the end of the road

If you’re going to offer local knowledge and information its best you get it correct, if you don’t, how will we know which bits of what you say to believe?

Easy mistake to make St Mary or St Paul, seeing that they both have Cray after them, there’s even a Foot’s Cray up the road. I know the area very well, my sister lives in Orpington and I used to actually drive for a company on that very same “”" BUSINESS PARK “”"

You didn’t want to go up Main Road by Homebase because of the sign, so please tell me why you ignored the " Width Restriction " sign which is on the road that you did finally did come up from the other direction ?
