It’s quite difficult to sack someone just for being a thorn in management’s side, however it’s very easy to lose their application form when everyone is reapplying for their jobs.

What you have to remember here is when a big logistics company is running the show you are just a number to them, you are replacable and expendable.
To some people you will be just a ■■■■■■■ driver and two a penny, because lets face it there is a lot of drivers toddling about either doing no work or barely scraping a weeks wage through an agency. They will happily take your place. Sad but true.
It sounds more to me that DHL would prefer people to be working there that are from the bridgwater area , which does make perfect sense tbh. It will be them thinking along the lines of a timekeeping issue with people possibly travelling from the Swindon and Bristol areas. Also probably thinking along othe lines of some drivers maybe being given another run in the afternoon and giving it the old " I can’t do that I live at xxxx I won’t get home til daft o clock"
Tis how it works , not unless some people are willing to relocate to bridgwater…
