Need somewhere to park up between half 7 and half 9 on Monday night. Anyone got any gems. can’t be a time sensitive departure as I will be having at least 11 off. Tipping at hienz Monday evening. Ideally quiet in morning and not outside a factory that starts shifts early am

Friday street chorley, free carpark across the road from town 5 minutes to wetherspoons and supermarket.
Most likely too far out truck stop at skem would be best bet
Try this Pikelaw place nice and quiet and walking distance skelm truck stop and a kebab shop.

You could try this place… WN3 6XR will get you there and the parts I’ve put the thin red squiggles on are places where you can park an artic:
Easy to get to from M6 J25 plus there are supermarkets and eateries reasonably nearby.

For those that know the area I’m in between Halfords and screwfix on the big roundabout at the bottom of Ormskirk Rd. Asda and McDonald’s nearby also. 11 hrs takes me till 0725 and screw fix opens at 7am I am on spaces at the side of there building. No signs say I can’t park here so hopefully I won’t get moved on before my 11 is up when they open.
Was heading for diesels recommended spot but saw this one.

One of our drivers had his sat nav nicked from his truck whilst he was sat on his bed in his keks making a brew on the stove after he had woke up one morning from around here 
Some scrote put his quarter window through on his drivers side Daf XF and yanked the sat nav and had it on his toes before our driver could do ouwt about it.

I’m in that area fairly often and I’ve never heard of any of the locals saying anything like that.
It saddens me greatly to hear of this kind of thing, and I’m sure it would have had an effect on the driver concerned, but I guess it shows how desperate some of the scrotes are. 
It’s a very sad state of affairs if you have to hide your sat-nav whilst you’re actually in your cab!!
The OP might well have had a lucky escape.
