Lasts weeks trip to Italy for Boyles Intl Transport

Used to see boules all over Italy when I worked for gollogly in Keady. Remember wee Davy beattie who drove for him . Met up with him one nite in malfoncone . He was loading for the same crowd in Galway as me . We were making a bite to eat and having a beer when three fiat uni’s came racing into ind estate with the local polizzi in town. They nicked the cars and were joy riding in them never seen anything as funny . Lol .

I take it the 2nd trip never happened

Have Boyles cleaned up their act these days?
Would love a trip to Italy … but maybe not (or definitely not) in the way they used to do it when I used to speak to a couple of their drivers on the boat, …granted about 12 yrs ago, so maybe different now eh?
No offence to o/p btw, just stating facts.

Mine was the 420,a lad who had never been over the water before got the 500 v8 and he went down to Florence for his first Euro trip.
Dont know what the split is horsepower wise the other motor on this trip was a 480 and I think he has a couple of plain white R500 v8`s aswell.
Going out again on Monday so will post some more pics when I get back.

Thanks for posting the pics up. I used to load alongside boyles regularly friday nights at italsempione in arluno. Met some good blokes on there

Very nice pics and diary mate, cheers. Do Boyles have a yard in the business park at Renfrew near Glasgow Airport ? Was in there a couple of years ago, and spotted a few trailers and units parked up.

Good pics! always like Boyle Trucks - amazing red livery & scania topline

Takes the Irish man to provide the wagons for the drivers… :sunglasses:

A well known firm close to home was telling me last week one of thier V8s broke down in England, rang around half the dealers - 'No parts for a V8 - a V8 said the Scania people? We keep no parts for a V8 - only 6 cylinder engines mainly!!!

The other Boyle almost beside the Newry connection have probably one of the most stunning fleet around - Gene Boyle T/A as Creggan Transport Ireland.

They haul reefers, and livestock trailers mainly out to the continent and just the most amazing presentation of their all Scania fleet !!!

Nice photographs there all the same, fine fleet and apparently a good firm to work for indeed…keep up the good work !!!
