Happy new year to you all
And safe trucking next year
Well nobody has sure as hell seen me that’s for sure, as I’ve slobbed around all week chilling out, watching telly, going down the pub, and days out with the Mrs and with each of the kids…loving it.
Happy New Year Orange boy
And to everybody else.
Mark h rimrose Rd bootle Friday pm
All the best for the new year boys and girls !
I’ve seen, Stella, peroni, glenffiddic, proseco, moet, and loads of dead cows, turkey and pigs.
All around the Liverpool area

Sounds like that old dive pub on the Dock rd in Liverpool…Annabells was it?
All the drink (and empties lying strewed around the floor) mentioned…check.
Definitely plenty of cows
(not dead but usually naked)
Lots of pigs in there, oh yeh plenty of those …but never saw a turkey .
Happy days, and very educational.

My dad used to do a late afternoon trunk from Glasgow to seaforth and occasionally the box back up wouldn’t be ready till the next morning. They would get told just to park up for the night, so the first place they used to head for was Ninas [emoji23]

Is it still going btw.?
I think it’s a cafe now (might still rent rooms).

Knowing my dad, it could have been him. He was a box jockey for a Glasgow mob called Cardiff Bros, formerly known as John Stamper Haulage.

You probably have. My dad was quite loud, normally seen with a ■■■hanging out his mouth and spoke with an English accent. It was actually a Manx accent but most people assumed he was English which used to annoy him. ‘I’m not ■■■■■■■English’ was his normal reply [emoji23][emoji23]
