So nearly a year to the day that i started this thread, i thought i’d stop by to say ‘ Hi’.
Wow !… hasn’t the world changed in the last 12 months. To be honest, i’ve not been keeping upto date with whats been going on on here, so i’ll check out some of the threads later. Although i’m aware of the current driver shortage, no European drivers, no food on shelves, but thats a different debate.
I’m still busy working in the Real Estate industry, but no longer in Belgium ( My Homeland).
I’ve been in Dubai since December ‘20. I’ve just about gotten used to the heat here.
Very interesting to see what types of trucks are riding around here. Mainly ex-Euro zone trucks.
Anyway, nice to catch up.

Pointy Sandals…. 
No suited & booted here, although i do wear sandals (without socks, i might add) when i’m not working.

being nosey now are you out there on your own or with family etc.

I have taken the decision to not renew my hgv licence this week for similar reasons.
I cannot face another 35 hours of CPC or any more of these BS lying RHA A holes.
This industry is woeful.
Nobody sticks together and it is not worth the health decline mentally or physically.

Yes the industry is woeful. This will not change overnight, unfortunately.
