He has been mentioned a few times on here, i used to work with him, he was doing wide load work and bank/finance repo work, he once said somebody had buried a JCB in a field so it could not be taken away, they saw an aerial sticking out of the grass.
Hi,
Seen big Larry at a friends bar-b-q, about a month ago up at Bemerton Heath in Salisbury. The last time I seen him before that was about 20 years ago, at La-juquera, on the French/ spannish border loading cheap baccy with a pair of sack trucks. I worked with him on J. C. DEAN’S back in the early eighties, he was then known as the ‘Gipsey trucker’ as he was always covered in dirt when he was haulin heavy scrap in a bulk trailer. Don’t know what he’s doing now, didn’t ask, but he didn’t look well to me, now very short grey hair and a lot thinner, but somebody did tell me that he had recently lost a close family member, so didn’t speak to him much…
Larry worked for Dave Johnson at the farm in Devizes then to a caravan at the ex Euro Trux yard at Broughton Gifford.Same boss.
